He has this listed in Minneapolis craigslist also. Got same e-mail reply as above. Refuses to give phone number. SCAM
I just saw the same ad in Dallas Craigslist and I have the same reply above…except I was told this was his son and to contact him at [email protected] In the communication he said he moved to Louisiana. He said he would use Amazon Payments to do the transaction…. to go to be true I am guess for $1500 for the cart they were showing.
I just had similar communication as well with supposed guy named Sean Walters said that Amazon payments would be how the transaction would be done. He sent me more pics but I also questioned the price base on the decked out cart that’s reflected. Let me know if anyone was able to talk to him directly.
I’m so glad I came across this as I have been talking to this Sean Walter via email for 2 days. I was pretty sure it was a too good to be true situation so I called Amazon to verify that he was registered to use their sure pay system and he is not. I questioned him about it in an email and got no response. I saw his add on phoenix craigslist
I responded to this ad in Chicago craigslist. Same song and dance, I was ready to buy until I see this. Any updates on this guy?

I actually called PionnerRx to see if he worked there and they knew his name because of other people who called about the scam. They said he does this with carts and boats and he does not work there.

Posting same thing in Philadelphia Craigslist. I flagged it for removal due to scam. I kept asking why the price was so low and he never answered my question.
The first email I got was someone claiming to be his daughter “Allison” and that I could contact him directly through his gmail account at [email protected]. BEWARE!!!

Here was his response to me:

The cart will come with 2 sets of keys and the owner’s manuals. I will overnight the title to you. Using Amazon Payments will also offer you the chance to have the golf cart inspected for 5 business days before you decide to keep it or not. If for any reason the golf cart will not meet your demands you can have it returned on my expense and receive a full refund but I’m sure it won’t be the case knowing the condition of the cart.
If you’re ready to move forward please include in the next e-mail your name, your delivery address and also a good phone number where I can reach you so we can settle the rest of the details.

I have been in contact with him this week under the name Josh Freeman I to though it was to good to be true he also wanted to deliver it by Amazon. I’m glad I always keep doing my homework on adds like this these people need to be stop and caught
Same thing in Detroit Michigan, I took out cash to buy/pickup the golf cart and . . . wait for it . . he’s Josh Freeman relocated to louisiana, wants to use Amazon payments, etc.

I think I’ll contact him again, and put him in touch with my financial advisor. He’s a very successful Nigerian businessman (even royalty I think!) who would gladly exchange bank account numbers with him.

Josh freeman posing out of Louisiana tried to scam me about a Golf Cart I wanted to purchase. He emailed me instructions on how to pay using Amazon gift cards….clearly a scam. should have googled his name first.
Total scam here. Same golf cart listed in Maryland on CL. I offered to stop by and pay cash. That’s when he said he moved to Louisiana for a promotion. Wanted to have funds wired.
Same scam came up in Colorado Craigslist today. “Allison” contacted me to get in touch with her dad “[email protected]”. And then I received the same reply as copied above. Luckily the only info I have him was my husbands work cell phone number…. and my husband is a police officer. Little disappointed the golf cart isn’t going to work out, but happy we caught on quickly! I’ll report the scam on Craigslist..
I had my suspicions as well. Googled searched his name and signature – this site came up. EXACTLY the same verbiage. Thought it was too good to be true. Investigated and confirmed. Next email I get from him/her/slug – I will fire back.
I inquired about the same golf cart. Seemed too good to be true which is why I searched the email address his “supposed” daughter Allison provide me. Here is what “allison” emailed me:

Total scam…He is now advertising in the Richmond/Norfolk Va area on Craigslist. Same add for the golf cart. I Googled his name and found this site. Thanks.
Josh freeman has tried to pull the same scam in Denver, Colorado on October 31, 2016.
The verbage is exactly the same as offers have reported on this site. Too good to be true!

SCAM continues 11/13/16 Denver, CO craigslist. Received same email as above!! Yes Allyson listed it for Her dad.
I got the same add looking thu golf carts in Atlanta. But it was an ezgo custom cart for 1500.00 but he went by Ralph Moore in keithville la.. Everything looked legit right down to amazon logos.
Same Craigslist ad in Nashville and Huntsville over the weekend. In Nashville scammer goes by Ralph Moore.
This just happened to me in Atlanta. Same description and price of $1500. Also wants to use Amazon payments. Same story about moving to LA and everything. I googled his name on a whim and found this. Thank God! I was about to pay.
Same thing. Was posted in South Florida Craigslist for $1500. When I sent an email to the listing reply email I got a reply from “Allison” stating it was posted on behalf of her dad and to email [email protected] with more questions. Not knowing any better I emailed asking for more information. I got the same kind of reply about it being clean no scratches, etc. and was offered more pictures. I asked for more pictures and if I could come look at the cart. Then I got an email back with the same spiel about moving to Louisiana because he was promoted with his job and that if I paid for the cart I would get free shipping through Amazon. This immediately set off a red flag so I searched for potential scams and found this page with the same exact thing.
Same situation in Austin TX. Now email us from Ray Jensen at Phillips 66. His daughter is Cassandra.

He could never send me the serial numbers, but added great new pics. Having a Police friend run the plates on the vehicles, so the people, whose golf cart, home and vehicles are in the pics. Maybe they can file charges

Cassandra emails me to email her dad at “[email protected] and I’m positive you will receive a quick reply.” He did reply, still no phone number or meeting place. He posted in chicago Craigslist. I replied to the listing and “Allison” said she was listing it for her dad and to contact [email protected]
I got a reply with all the specifics and then wanted to see it and he has yet to reply.
