We relocated to Wichita, Kansas with my job because I was promoted. We sold the property and won’t need it at new home so my wife keeps bugging me to get rid of it. We got identical e-mail responses form David Morgan on 10-31-17 along with an actual billing attachment sent separately presumably from “Amazon Pay.” Pretty clever scam on his part. But something did not feel right because the guy would never call me or give me a phone number to reach him and the Craig’s List ad for this same cart appeared in Austin, and he says he is located in Kansas, so my wife checked his name out on the internet and thankfully this site stop us in our tracks from becoming a victim of this scam. He/she has run scams under many names from different locations.
and now her husband just died of a stroke 2 months ago.

I’m asking $1,000 for the 2008 Ezgo 2X2 RXV 48 Volt golf cart. You might be inclined to think that there are issues with it, but that’s not the case.. The truth is that my husband died two months ago – he had a stroke at work.. The cart is in a really good shape with no damage history. Not aware of any issues with the Golf Cart (i.e., starts/runs like it should).
Me along with my daughter decided to sell the house and so we moved to my sister in Omaha,NE trying to start a new life. I want to use eBay’s services for the safety of both of us so if you’re interested in purchasing this golf cart just email me with your full name, address including the zip code and phone number, so I can notify eBay that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

Just got the same email (from Tim Greene) about a golf cart on craigslist here in Phoenix…his daughter said that I needed to text her “father” because it was his golf cart. After he got back to me and told me all the AMAZING details, I looked him up to see where Timothy Greene, engineer, was located. But instead of finding a “real” Tim Greene up popped your Scam Alert Site. Thanks for this alert….it saved me and will most likely save others from low life scammers!

I just got the same email today too when I inquired about the golfcart. Again he says his name is Timothy Greene from Wichita, Kansas.
