This what she sent me via email when I asked about the golf cart:

First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my golf cart. I am selling it at this price ($2600) because I just finished the divorce with my husband. When the divorce has finished i own this golf cart. Now as a woman i don’t need it.
This golf cart is in excellent working condition, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title.
From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services. We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated at eBay and I have a purchase protection account for $20,000. The final price that I want for this golf cart is $2600 US including shipping and handling.
If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through eBay.
I will wait your answer(if you are interested to buy) very soon.
There IS no buyer protection from EbaY UNLESS you use Ebay for the transaction.

Thank you again for the reply. I guess I am a little concerned with the golf cart being out of state. It sounds like a legit process you are speaking of but these days I have to be very careful. Especially since I don’t know the shipping company or have ever heard of this with ebay? I have been an ebay member for years. I can’t even find the golf cart listed on ebay so I am even more confused!
SO YES IT ALL SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF! ANOTHER THING WAS THAT WE ASKED FOR THE LENGTH MEASUREMENT OF THE GOLF CART IN OUR ORIGINAL EMAIL AND THAT WAS NEVER EVEN ADDRESSED.

Glad to know you’ve been spared from being scammed because you found the report on our site! You did the right thing: search on Google first and see what comes up regarding the matter. Those that get scammed don’t do any research work before finalizing the transaction, and end up losing lots of money in this scam.

I just took the time to search craigslist across the nation and it seems as if the postings are being flagged in every city! I have found it flagged in Raleigh, Atlanta, Washington DC, and a couple more places. Here is the post in Miami for anyone who wants to see the actual picture of the golf cart they are using. It is wayyy too nice for the price!

I just found a similar one about selling a ridgeline from the uk, he is offering to ship via US Air Force, he just wants my full name and address. I almost did it until I found this, I do not know how he can scam just using my name and address though. Thanks for the help.

I’m very busy with my job and I’m left out of the town so I can’t meet in person with you so this is the reason why I chose to sell my car over the internet. According to eBay you have 5 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
Here is how it will work:

2. After I will receive the details from you, I will forward them to eBay.
3. After they will process your info, they will send us both invoices.

Golf cart is almost brand new, it was bought new and only used a few times.

just dealt with her/him in North Dakota. Wanted me to go through Western Union, and asked if I could help her, and tell them that I was sending money to a friend, and that it was NOT for a object. WOW RED FLAG!!!
