This client has a habit of claiming “the check’s in the mail” to induce additional work, and has done this a number of times. My reply to the above email was that when her account was paid in full, I would entertain additional work on her behalf. The above email was dated 03-20-2008, but as of 06-05-2010 payment not received.

Another victim of Leah Lasley’s history of non-payment surfaces. A contractor named Justin Trueblood contacted me with his information, after Leah Lasley defaulted, and found her listed on my website in Google.

They advertise unlimited downloads for a onetime fee. They offer a 30 money back guarantee, but won’t honor it.

All there site does it point you to other sites to download. In other words, all they have really done is to do the search for you. They don’t actually have any of the material themselves. They have a disclaimer in fine print on their website, but it is very easy to miss it.

Their only method of payment is through PayPal. There is a good reason for that. You can’t file a dispute within PayPal for a service complaint. So you’re SOL unless you changed your PayPal method to a Credit Card.

I was told to email you and maybe they can help on this scam for chimney fixing season.

On October 24th when the winter was fast approaching we decided to fix our chimney in spite of other mounting expenses. We called Chimney Works of Nashville. The owner JD Little came over to our place and made a lot of exaggerated claims of the extreme poor condition of our chimney and needs to be replaced and fixed. He also downplayed other chimney repairers in the area. It was only later after we signed the written contract and paid by check of $1150 of $2400 that we knew we were in trouble. He came only once just to wash the chimney with a pressure washer and never came back to reline the chimney with stainless steel and all the repairs he promised to do. We called him many times, he said he would come 2-3 days later but he never showed up or returned any of our calls. After this we decided to find out more about this person and found many people reporting of similar pattern of being ripped off on the internet. He thinks he knows the law as he boasted and kept giving all kinds of ridiculous excuses like being shot at, the tree fell, robbery, his girlfriend had to go to the emergency during the weekend, had multiple accidents, etc…. He could have just called us and gave us a time frame for the repairs instead of making amazing unheard of excuses.

We feel that this person believes he can get away

as most people would not report this due to the amount of not being overly large and is taking advantage of many unknowing consumers. He has multiple reports on Yahoo, BBB, etc. He might
have been doing this for many years to many people who also did not repor. He could be preying or stalking others like us and hoping we would just forget about this and let it go. The kids [9 & 10 yr old] are sad saying that Santa may not come since the chimney is damaged. He also damage portion of our chimney and left everything in disarray and never came again or called us. I am sure this winter many people want to know about not getting into this kind of subtle scam on chimney fixing. He even said he had a PhD in Chimney Fixing. News Channel 4 Jennifer Johnson uncovered that his web site on all his said certifications were all fake according to the State of Tennessee licensing board and National Chimney Guild Associations, etc. He also went on to say Ashbusters, A CleanSweep and all others were all bad companies and DO not do a good job… I was surprise. I thought this news will help make many consumers aware of this scam Artist since it is now winter and the recession is making things hard for many people like us. Local Channels 4 WSMV, Channel 5 and Fox news have covered this on TV. Do a search on Chimney on their sites for the news and videos.

Well, a couple of weeks ago i purchased a small HPS Grow light from this company. I recieved the light in a weeks time. The 1st thing i noticed was that the light i recieved wasn’t the light pictured on the website.

So I said ok, let me see if it works? Then, I hooked up the light in my indoor vegetable garden. The first two weeks were cool, no problems. At the end of those two weeks, I had noticed the ballast had started humming. So I wrote the company telling them of my problem and waited for a response.

No longer then 2 days later, I had the police and a city utility worker knocking on my door wanting to ask me questions. So I answered the door and they wanted to search my house because they inform me that i was stealing power from the utility company.

I furthered explained to the officer that i wasnt stealing electricity and that it was a misunderstanding. Meanwhile the utility man had walked through the house and brought my light out with him stating that ” this is what your stealing electricy with to me in front of the officer”.

I calmly showed the officer my receipts,my packaging and materials my order confirmation and the actual website itself. He told me that he would be confiscating the light and that he will be filing a report and that i may have to go to court if the electric company choses to file charges. But they didnt, they just wanted bill money.

So after this fiasco was done, i contacted inside sun company by phone and recieve a answering service. So i described the situation and waited a response.

And waited ,and waited…then i started to bombard the website with emails and still recieved no answer. Then i started calling the number and the answering machine was dropped and it just kept ringing.

So I want to tell anyone who may be intersted in buying products from this company to never ,ever consider it. This guy is crud and his business is a SCAM!!! Nothing but a Scam. He’s selling defective products and misleading his customers by falsely advertising his product pictures as one thing and sell you another. This guy is nothing but a fraud with defective third grade products, which may land you in trouble with the law. He’s a terrible business man with a fraudulent company and business practices. Never buy from him, you’ll save yourself alot of grief and money in the long run.

I took out a payday loan in the amount of $400.00 with a repayment amount of $503.42, according to both their website and an email they sent me. The website asked me when my next 2 paydays were so I gave that information. When the first payday came around, they debited my account the interest payment of $103.42 as I expected. When the 2nd payday came around, I expected them to debit my account the original $400.00 but instead they took $504.79. When I contacted them about the amount they took, they said I agreed to a defered payment and that they could charge me interest again and that is what the additional fee was. Their website and the email I received were both misleading and I asked for my money back but they said what they did was legal. They ripped me off by misleading me!!
