They use the website chevrontexacostaff.com (which has graphics stolen from the real chevron.com site). Tutor scammers advertising on craigslist have been using email addresses from chevrontexacostaff.com.
I got several a few years ago, stating that a relative had been killed in Nigeria.Supposedly they worked for Shell Oil,and the wife and children had also died… Shell Oil had a statement on their website, so I copied and pasted it to a reply email.They knew they were busted,so they never contacted me again…
I just received today the same email but the company was different “Exxon-Mobil” .
