Nanny Scam!! In Salt Lake City They Will Pay You $800 weekly

Hello Everyone, I’m writing to inform nannies that are looking for a job to not get sucked into this one. The ad says I’ll pay you $800.00 weekly need a nanny urgently, and you will get paid! Well… this is not true whatsoever. I was almost scammed, but luckily a family member mentioned to me that if I couldn’t even meet these people because they are traveling all over for an art business, but they are still willing to hire me after their so called Legal Advisor from the UK looks over my resume and says it’s OK by him to pay me an upfront payment of $3800 before the parents arrive back at the end of the month. Then this all doesn’t make sense and it’s a scam. I was also asked by this fake Legal Advisor if I had a limit to deposit $3800 in to my personal account. I mean I can’t even meet the kids till later, so bizarre! What kind of real parents would agree to such a thing. Please don’t pay this ad any attention. I talked with my Bank Representative and he told me that he has seen every single day 5-7 scams on nanny ads, and other ads on craigslist in Salt Lake City innocent people are taken advantage of. please be careful! Remember if an ad sounds too good to be true then remember it usually is. Also don’t ever give out any personal information about yourself, or bank account. If you do you could be in a huge financial mess! Always ask to meet the parents in advance. If they say they are traveling all over be very wary! I wish all the wonderful nannies looking for jobs the very best.
Sincerely, Amber W
