If you go to MAP QUEST and look this address up …it is completely fiction and the area code for Phoenix, Az is 602 NOT 206..andybody should know that….and I don’t even live there….this people are really DUMB….

I received this today, replied with an email suggesting an anatomically impossible act, and am awaiting a return call from the local FBI office.

I have to laugh every time I recv one of these emails….if our FBI agents aren’t better educated…then we are in trouble….wish these would just GO AWAY for goodness sake…..

I received this e-mail 8/17/10, I am glad many have responded to this fraud.
I will contect the FBI tomorrow and ask what they have done to investigate this scam.

I received the same email, Rev. Ben Bruce. I was kind of weary since the email came from info@fbi.gov. Actually is fairly easy to mask the alias of the email. The only way you can be sure it to double check the email header and it will give a better idea where the original email came from. Here’s the header on the scam email I received:

Look for the Originating IP address. Then use http://cqcounter.com/whois/ to find out who owns the IP address. In this case the email came from X-Originating-IP: [195.4.92.92] and after querying 195.4.92.92 I got this:

Recieved it today, knew it was a scam immediatly. Did go to the FBI internet crime webpage and filed. I hope they catch these people, lock em up, and throw away the key. nuff said!
