Paul Kelvin Match .com

So this guy contacted me first on match.com. This so reminds me of the Robin Cole scams and such. He started as a nurse in NYC then told on yahoo.com chat that he lived in the UK and travels and was an engineer and when I questioned this said it was maybe a mistake. When I went to report this to Match.com his profile was gone! Below is an email he sent me. As soon as I told him that this felt like a scam via our yahoo chat he was gone!!!

LADIES BEWARE OF PAUL KELVIN. HE SAYS ALL THE RIGHT THINGS AND IT’S ALL A LOAD OF CRAP. HE DEFINATELY TRYS TO PRAY ON SINGLE WOMEN. THANK YOU FOR THE PREVIOUS POST ABOUT HIM BECAUSE AS SOON AS HE STARTED FEEDING THE B.S. I COULD SMELL A RAT AND SAW THAT THIS WAS NOTHING OTHER THAN A SCAM ARTIST. I CONFRONTED HIM BY YAHOO MESSENGER AND AM LUCKY TO HAVE FAMILY THAT WORK FOR THE FEDS. DON’T THINK I WILL HEAR FROM HIM AGAIN. WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T BUY THE STORIES THEY ARE ALL FALSE. HAVE GOTTEN PROOF HE IS A FAKE.

Recently been scammed by one CHARLES WILLIAMS email address charleswilly502@hotmail.com Originally claimed to be in Sydney , when I responded to a wink the story unfolded .
Back in States because mother ill , has 15 y.o. daughter Sharon , lives with his mother . Plans to relocate to AU , has put aside US$500,000 to buy home. Is in crude oil import /export business , traveling to Lagos as one of 10 tendering for rights to operate there
Meeting went well , travel itinerary emailed , later that day emails and phone calls , he had been robbed at gun point by a group of 5 locals who stole his lap-top and letters of credit etc ..
Started oleading, begging and weeping for me to send him some money to pay hotel bill ..Started at $500 went up to $1,000 . A jeweller and former security officer immediately told me “It’s a scam , don’t send any money ” .
Well , he wept he cried he damn near died , begged for $200 fina;;y and I stood firm . Thanks guys , good to know I am not the only one who has been targetted

    re:Paul Kelvin match.com

This email sounds exactly like one I received from a so-called Michael Willenburg aka mieco212 on match.com, email: uniquewalks@yahoo.com.
BEWARE…this man is very charming, claimed to live in Fort Worth, originally from Norway, and had a family business in gold and gems, widower with a 9 year old son, also had a girl friend who cheated an him with his best friend and he found them in his bed, recently went to Accra, Ghana for business…I am a very intelliegent woman who managed to get scammed for several thousand dollars. I’d be curious to know if anyone else has encountered this “person.”

After I responding to a wink from him on match.com 18 October 2010 he called him self ittakestwosssxx2 he said he was new to that site and did not go on it often. Told me he had to go back to USA Mississippi urgently as his mother took sick and he had a 15yr old daughter called Sharon his wife had died so Sharon lived with his mother his father died when he was a young boy .He said he was staying in a hotel in Sydney been there for 4 months going to relocate budgeted $5oo,ooo to buy a house here . Told me he was closing his profile down now that he had met me and send emails to charleswilly502@hotmail and asked me to me to close my profile down as well so no one else could take me away from him .
The story Prue ahlquist told on the 24/9 is almost identical to what he told me but had not got to ask for any money yet but wanted to make me his wife and would i accommodate him in my home till he could buy a house here and lots of other things This all happened in a matter of one week .I felt something was not right with this and looked up and found this about him it mad me feel sick have never been on a dating site before I never do this again what a fool I feel and how easy it is to get taken in .I hope this helps some one else This man Charles says all the right things tells you he is a christian a god fearing man you get taken in by him ,or just about did .

I have been approached by Paul Kelvin. He has asked me to chat on yahoo. He says all right things and tries to charm me. He made things seem way too perfect that I seemed to see throught but until after i had given him my phone number. Lord I hope I am still safe.

I so wanted to find someone great so it is disappointing to find that he is scam.

The story that I got from this so called Charles William is similar to the one Margret Trigilgas but his project was in Nigeria and he got robbed the day before he could do his presentation to the firm who is giving him the drilling rights for crude oil in Nigeria. He then started asking for money in US $ as he’s started begging on the streets of Nigeria for he’s run out of food coupons to buy food and pay the hotel bills. I suspect that the picture that he’s posted on FSO might be some else’s picture too. So, ladies out there please be very careful as this guy is a fraudster.

  11. Ange Lim on February 17th, 2011 8:11 pm

This Charles William has moved on to a new name and is called Lucas A. Morgan email: lovewinsss@yahoo.com.au. He is using a different photo now under this new name on facebook. Ladies out there beware of this imposter!!!

  12. Cindy on February 19th, 2011 10:22 am

I have been chatting with this guy he said his name was Fred walker from cleveland ohio, has a son Kelvin, which is 7 years old. He is a widower, lost his wife, and other son 5 years ago in a car accident, said he was a gold miner, had to go to Accra Ghana to do work, and low and behold, couldnt get back home, asked if i could send him 500.00 to finish paying for his ticket for him and his son, so i western unioned it to him,on feb.17 2011, and was to be here feb.18 2011 ,well i got his flight info, and he never showed up at the airport, now i dont hear anything from him at all. His e-mail address is fw0053@yahoo.com,watch out, he is a real charmer,I was hoping that he was true, but i found out different. Would like to know if anyone else has had problems with him

  13. Ange Lim on February 20th, 2011 12:50 am

    Hi there Cindy,

I got your email and am sorry to hear that you got scammed by this Paul Kelvin. He sounds the same as this Charles William has asked me for money even asked me to get loan from friends if I d’nt have the money to send but I stood firm as it just sounds too fishy. I think you all should beware as he’s back on facebook now as self employed in Sydney and there’s also another one by the name of Lucas A Morgan also self employed.

  14. Ange Lim on March 2nd, 2011 3:08 am

Ladies, you allalso need to be aware of a Mark Lorraine has cooked up story of going to inherit a fortune left by parents to him in Australia, then come up with story of needing money to pay for fees before he could access inheritance and will ask if you could lend him the money, so when he gets the inheritance he will pay back with interest, just too good to be true so beware another scammer and real charmer too.

  15. Ann on March 20th, 2011 6:38 pm

Paul Kelvin, Fred Walker, wonder how many other names this guy goes by. He contacted me on Match.com in January as Fred Walker same story as Cindy’s and I blew him off for someone else. fw0053 Fred Walker gave me the Jeweler from Cleveland, widower, girlfriend cheated on him story, he got confused with his son (Kelvin)’s age, what he told me was different from his match.com profile said, which by the way disappeared within 12 hours of contacting me and giving me his yahoo address but I remember details pretty well and the things he said in chat were pretty much copy paste from his match profile. I think I flustered him. One of our first chats he said we were soul mates and was wanting to relocate to marry me lol. Moved a little too fast for me.

    Ladies,
Please be aware of a man called Duke James his screen name is worthy of love 44-46, it is now closed down on match.com. He claims to be a airline pilot from FL, and thesee pictures are so convincing plus the web cams. He claims he adopted a child from Ghana and needs you to send his son Charles items to Ghana. Thru a pack of lies I have the IM saved where this guy from Nigeria admits that he stole the picture from this James man. I asked how was the Skype American man, he said it was prerecorded cam. I hope they put this young guy in jail. I ask this young man to give the computer, cam, and back to the James man. I am thru with this online dating saga.
It is ashamed you cannot trust people. Also he will feed you a story he lost his wallet and South Africa and he needs you to wire him money.

  18. Wanda on September 25th, 2011 5:17 pm

Beware of Steven Williams steven.williams3030@yahoo.com. He is the same. Had to go to Guana Africa for business and then dropped his computer and his phone, they froze his accounts and was looking for some money to bring him home. These guys prey on loney heart women especially from America. he even told me he wanted an American wife. When you go through this stuff and find you don’t think you can trust anyone online anymore. Beware ladies…
