I just wanted to say that not only is this a scam but i logged into MY ACCOUNT on craigslist to post an item for sale and noticed a listing on my list of posts that I had not posted. the listing was the same as above and i had not posted it. furthermore i emailed the guy because i thought it was a fluke that somehow his post ot put on my account and wanted to give him the chance to repost before i deleted it. what i got back was these emails:
Sorry for delay. Are you still interested? The vehicle is still for sale
My 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4×4 is in great shape, no engine
problems, damages or hidden defects. It was always garaged and never
smoked in.The price is $2,900 and it has 166,556 miles. We will use
eBay`s protection program for our safety.I just need your full name
and address so i can open a case .(with no further obligation or
    fees). Have a nice day!

    So i wrote:

well after all of that i decided to google the email address because i have seen the ebay buyer protection program scam crap before and it tipped me off and sure enough another scam but this time one was posted thru my account and craigslist just tells me to change my password

When it looks too good to be true… Here’s my experience (found this place by googling the email address “kvnrowland@gmail.com”) :

    [Hello,
Sorry for delay. Are you still interested? The bike is still for sale
My 2004 Harley Davidson Softail is in great shape, no engine
problems, damages or hidden defects. This bike is looking like new,
never been involved in any accident and is not under leasing or bank liabilities.
The price is $2,300 firm and it has 4632 miles.
The only thing because i am selling it,it's because i divorced with my husband and after
    the divorce i own this bike,now as a woman i don`t need it(i don`t have driver license).
We will use Google Checkout for our safety.

    Have a nice day!. ]
It seemed fishy that I was willing to pay cash in hand after i got the vehicle VIN to check through DMV and test ride/see the bike in person, that they wanted to use Google Checkout. Too many red flags, but it sure got my hopes up. *sigh*
