I was recently contacted by a Samson Malcolm, of Manchester, United Kingdom on okcupid.com 19 Dec 09 where we began communicating via email and Yahoo Messenger. This scammer claims he was a Geologist who was on his way to Nigeria and one week after arriving he was stranded and asked me in email to send him 22K USD through a Money Gram in Nigeria. I had a Wymoo investigation conducted on him and all the information he gave to me was fake. Including his telephone number. His credentials, his company (claims he is a CEO), and his address. He goes by the name Samson Malcolm, but frequently misspells his last name as Malcom. The investigators in my case concluded that his IP traffice was being scrammbled from Nigeria. He uses the following email address to correspond samsmalcom@yahoo.com and samsmalcom as his Yahoo Messenger name. If you do a google search for this guy you will find him on facebook, linkedin, and several online dating sites. I really want to get the word out to people.

I talked to Emery Brosnan for 5 months emerybrosnan@yahoo.com. He told me he was from Toast in North Carolina but lived in England and was the father of a 9 year old daughter. He was working as a contract engineer Dana Petroleum working on a rig off Scotland. He gave me a phone number and we even talked on the phone on checking my phone bills he was contacting me from somewhere in England. He informed me he had to go and work on a rig in Port Harcourt Nigeria although he had changed his phone number it did have a Nigeria phone code. Throughout the five months he never enquired about my financial affairs. After loosing contact with him I received a text to say he had been in an accident. For months I had suspecting it was a scam so I was ready when it occurred. I kept myself very safe as he gained very little information about me and at time even gave false information. He never got my heart or my money but I wanted to inform others as they might not be so lucky.
The man I’m chatting with found me on FB; we hit it off from the start. His name is Murphy James, email address murphyjames2090@yahoo.com. We have been chatting, IMing and talking on the phone for over 2 months now. He professed his love for me, said that God sent him to me to make him happy; he wants to marry me when he returns to the US from a project in Nigeria. He says he’s a widower and has a 17 year old son, Stephen. At first we were just talking and getting to know each other, exchanged pics, cell numbers and pics of our kids…so I wasn’t suspicious…then as time went on, I started falling for him and asked him about his family and just really wanted to know if he was for real. The profession I work for gives me access to run peoples history and I could never find him. I even asked him for his social security number so I can verify him… he said no, but gave me his home address back in the states that was an actual address; I checked. I even went to an I.P.address tracking site and ran his I.P. address and it came back to Nigeria. After about a month of chatting, he said his son was playing basketball and had fallen and was unconscious and needed surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. Me having kids, I felt the need to help against my better judgment, so I sent the $500 for the surgery. He only had his credit card and they only take cash. He then sent me a basket of chocolate with a note that says he loves me which tugged at my heart strings. Now his son his is well and he says his project is finished and he trying to get home to the US and be with me but the company he worked for is sending his money to his Bank of America account in a few days and needs me to sign a Next Of Kin Form to release his payment. I did and returned it to him by email. Last week he officially asked me to marry him and wanted to know my dress and ring size because he will be home very soon and just can’t wait to be with me and he will give me anything I want because I am his angel and he wants me to be happy and loves me so much. Then just this week, I received a package by UPS from David’s Bridal. It was a beautiful wedding gown he picked out for me and all the while he’s asking me to help him out with $800 for half his airline ticket till he can get his money and he promises to pay me back. I don’t have anymore more money to send. I am a struggling single mother with 2 jobs. I really want to believe that this man is real but I am so confused right now…I don’t know who or what to believe…has anyone else dealt with this man or a similar story??? Can someone help me please???
