The Nigerians have launched a new and potent weapon.

Here’s how it works:

The Nigerians send an email with an attached text message. We have all seen this before however this time the text message carries a nasty little payload.

It contains a small malicious batch file which launches an anti-virus scanning program informing you that your computer is infected and you must purchase their software. You are given 3 options for payment.

This small batch file disables current versions Norton and McAfee anti-virus programs and further disables window’s internet options thus preventing you from deleting the program from the temporary internet file inwhich it resides.

The Nigerian’s goal is for you to use your debit and/or credit card. Little black sambo gets the licensing fee and captures your CREDIT CARD & PIN NUMBERS. Then he cleans out your bank accounts.

Don’t even think about paying the licensing fee. It won’t do you any good because your computer has been hijacked.

Remember: Little Black Sambo is after your credit card and pin numbers.
