Received large check through the mail for Mystery Shopping jobs

I received a letter with a “real” check in the amount of 2,490.00 dollars to do a mystery shopper job. The letterhead and all looks very real but this has to be a “true good to be true thing”. The company on the letterhead and check is
“MY ORGANIC MARKERT, INC
T/AMOS/MY ORGANIC MARKET
9827 RHODE ISLAND AVENUE
COLLEGE PARK MD 20740
The bank the check is drawn on is Fidelity @ Trust Bank
Bethesda, MD 30814
This letter tells me that they have chosen me to complete a job to deposit this check into my bank account and then withdraw 2,050 for the first two jobs. My first job is to spend 50.00 on myself to observe walmart, shell gas, exxon, walgreens, citgo, or K-mart of my choice and then report on the sheet that has been sent in the letter.
Then I am suppose to go to my local western union and wire 2000.00 of the money to an agent. I am suppose to fax all receipts of transactions to the company with the fax numbers and call the telephone numbers if I needed assistance. There was 250.00 in it for me for payment. Can somebody please tell me what is going on here? I’ve never signed up to be a mystery shopper, but I have inquired about it but never went as far as sending a penny for a kit or anything, because my gut just didnt trust it. This check looks like my own pay checks for gosh sakes. Watermarks, locks, void in 90 days,…etc.
I know its a scam, and wondering who I should take this check too.

I GOT THIS VERY SAME THING ASKING ME TO BE A SECRET SHOPPER AND SEND MONEY VIA WIRE TRANSFER AND SPEND SOME MONEY AT WALMART AND THEN KEEP REMAINDER AS PART OF THE SALARY. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CALL THE NUMBER ON PAPER FOR THEM TO ACTIVATE CHECK OTHERWISE IT WILL LOOK LIKE YOUR TRYING TO CASH A FAKE CHECK. I HAVE DEPOSITED THE CHECK AND TO MY SURPRISE IT CLEARED NOW I MUST DO THE WORK
I GOT THE SAME THING AND TOOK IT TO MY BANK AND IT WAAS FAKE .SO I AM SAKING IS IT REAL .?
