Thought it was odd that he was willing to send $1000+20 for a vacuum he hadn't even seen pictures of and was "completely satisfied" with the ad. So I ended up here, thank god.
His "secretary" emailed me from princeolaly3@gmail.com at first, then he replied from this address.

Watch out. He is still at it and has new aliases. Be on the lookout for a Craig Hammer and the email godisgreattohispeople56@gmail.com. this fool just won't give up. Maybe also if he stopped using god or reverand in his emails or name, people might not realize at first that its him. This is seriously one of the dumbest mother fuckers I have ever come across. So watch out for this loser people, he isn't giving up.

Just got some new scammer info folks. Think its somebody different but might not be. Check out the info below and be wary of the name Brandon Vick and the email n22idanmn@hotmail.com. Check out the correspondence;

* CRAIGSLIST ADVISORY --- AVOID SCAMS BY DEALING LOCALLY ** Avoid: wiring money, cross-border deals, work-at-home ** Beware: cashier checks, money orders, escrow, shipping ** More Info: http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams

Hi,

http://x9rusdgha5dsgdiar74r.com/032/?qjdby=07263656 is it still available? Thanks! Brandon Vick

My reply:

Yes sir it is still available, but which item were you referring to? I have multiple listings. Please call me @ 9258196001. If you do not I will consider you to be the same dumbass scammer that keeps replying to my listings.

The reply to my reply:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

n22idanmn@hotmail.com

Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable (state 14).

You see what he is doing is sending you an email asking you about the item. The item is not mentioned anywhere in the email. You see a real Craigslist reply has you actual listing title in the email somewhere, usually as the subject. So that caught my attention first. Second is that he includes a link in the body of his text trying to get you to click on it. When you do, a login screen for "Craigslist" pops up. I would advice you to not put in your info. I have never once received a real Craigslist email that requires my login info. Craigslist themselves even warn against these type of emails. They have the info on the REAL login screen above the boxes where you type your info. I could be wrong about this guy, but all the evidence needed to believe he is a scammer has been presented.

Unfortunately my response to this last email will be deleted out by a moderator, but every derogatory name and swear word in the English language and those of a few other languages were used. Whatever you are thinking that I said, I probably did. Watch out for this jerkoff, he obviously is super desperate and super dumb.

Also people you gotta stop and think before you act. Obviously we are all desperate for some extra $$$, otherwise we wouldn't be trying to sell stuff on CL, and we get excited when we get a reply to our ad, but you gotta stop and think. In all my years using Craigslist and selling stuff, never once have I had a REAL buyer NOT call me after I instructed them too so that we could arrange a time and place to meet. Also I have never had a REAL buyer REFUSE to meet. And don't except anything other than CASH people!!! If the fools are able to get you a cashier check, they are able to get you cash. Cashier checks the last time I looked are not free and require Cash to purchase. And don't fall for the " mail it to me after you get payment" bull unless they are paying you thru paypal. I've done that twice on CL with no problems. If they want you to mail it to them fine, but tell them that you will only except paypal in that case, and if they are a REAL buyer, then they will have no problem with that. But for the most part people, and I'm asking this of those who have unfortunately fallen prey to these scum, DON'T YOU READ THE DAMN BOLD PRINT AT THE TOP OF THE REPLY TO YOUR AD???? In case you missed it here it is:

** CRAIGSLIST ADVISORY --- AVOID SCAMS BY DEALING LOCALLY ** Avoid: wiring money, cross-border deals, work-at-home ** Beware: cashier checks, money orders, escrow, shipping ** More Info: http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams

This is at the top of every reply to your ad. IT'S THERE FOR A REASON PEOPLE!!! This forum is testament as to WHY. Do yourself a favor, be patient, and wait for someone who is local, someone who CALLS you after you instruct them to so as to arrange time and place for meeting, and someone that WILL meet, and most important, that they have CASH MONEY. Anyone who refuses to meet cuz they are so busy or unable to, is scamming you. Anyone who won't call you but continues to mail, is a scammer. Anyone offering anything but cash, is a scammer. And anyone who isn't local, or within a reasonable drive, is most likely a scammer. Why buy something from someone two states away, with no promises that you will get your item or that it will be the way the ad describes, when you can go on eBay for just as cheap and get 100% buyer and seller protection?

Be smart people. Deal locally, within 2hours drive distance, if that doesnt bother you, and cash only.

You will deduct the cost of the purchase from it. You will also have to send the rest of the fund to my wife once you cashed the check so that she can come over for the pick up of the purchase as planned. Just so I am straight on the issue, I will deduct $350.00 from the $1400.00 sent and via western union wire back the money minus the wire cost to your wife. I will need her information to return funds.

There is an airport in Concord, NH but the biggest one would be Manchester, NH and not that much further.

I have my bike for sale on craigslist. I got a response from linda.gwoodrwidgse1@earthlink.net initially and later with the email id nicejanto1@btinternet.com. He is currently using the name Evang. Brandon Kerry. He just sent me an email saying he posted me a check with excess amount and asked me to return the remaining amount. I somehow suspected it and googled and I came to this page. Thankfully I found he is a scamster.
