Today.com recently did a pay cut across the board, slashing the rates of even some of their top ten bloggers. Anyone who expressed disappointment with the new rates and suggested compromise with Today was promptly locked out of their accounts. Requests to remove copyrighted photos have gone unheeded, even though they do not fall under Today's work for hire agreement. After looking around the Web, you'll find that Today.com has a pattern of luring in writers, then just as they get going, cancelling their account. Today keeps all the continuing revenue from that blog, and the writer never sees a further dime from it. Avoid this company at all costs. I also agree. Instead, I will earn $0.002 per unique visitor. Because I have a new blog, I've averaged about five visitors per post for six posts. Let's see . . . The get you going, and then the more traffic you bring in the less they pay you. In addition, they delete your posts without warning if you say anything to disagree with them. They even reserve the right to reassign your content to other blogs without any compensation. It's a scam. Don't do it. It’s very true.
